Exciting 2025 Program Updates at TFC Martial Arts – April Edition
We’re kicking off Spring 2025 with some exciting updates to our schedule—based on your feedback and your goals. At Keishidojo Martial Arts, we’re always striving to evolve and deliver programs that truly serve our members, and these changes reflect that commitment. Whether you’re focused on striking, grappling, fitness, or competition, there’s something here for you!
Back by Popular Demand: Kickboxing Returns!
You asked, and we listened—our award-winning Kickboxing program is back starting this April! Classes will be held every Monday and Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM, and they’re open to students of all levels. This dynamic program blends the explosive striking principles of Muay Thai, American Kickboxing, and Bruce Lee’s Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do into one powerful class. Students will sharpen their offensive and defensive striking skills through heavy bag drills, Muay Thai pad work, and focus mitt training. We’ll also incorporate controlled sparring for those who want to put their skills to the test in a safe and structured environment. It’s the perfect blend of fitness, technique, and real-world application—and we’re thrilled to offer it once again.
Jiu-Jitsu Gets Sharper, More Focused
We’ve also made a strategic shift in our Monday and Wednesday youth classes, transforming what was formerly “TFC Jujitsu” into a focused Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program. With many of our young athletes expressing interest in competition—and several already preparing to compete—we believe this change will provide them with the dedicated grappling training needed to succeed. To support this shift, we’ll be conducting evaluations for all students who wish to focus on Jiu-Jitsu, assigning them a formal Jiu-Jitsu rank that can be worn proudly in class and at tournaments.
For those students who prefer to remain on the original TFC Jujitsu path, no worries—you’ll have the option to switch to a different class where you can continue developing within that system. This way, all students can train in the environment and focus that suits them best.
These updates are just one part of our ongoing mission to create a supportive, challenging, and inspiring space for all of our students. We’re excited to see everyone grow with these changes, and we can’t wait to see you on the mat!
Let’s make 2025 our strongest year yet!
